The Pleasaunce's woodland glen has received its annual hair cut. The grass is cut once a year in late summer. This enablesall the wildflowers to flower and set seed. The cuttings are taken away so that, over time, the fertility of the grassland is reduced, making it more congenial to wildflowers and reducing the vigour of the grass.
